We identify human from other moving or static objects like trees, pets, vehicles, etc. With Sentry’s computer vision technology, your Blue Iris system will not only be just a security camera monitoring system, but will also be an intelligent system that only generates meaningful alerts.  Sentry will continue to add capability to its technology and intends make these available to subscribers over time.

Why should I subscribe to Sentry Smart Alert?

With your current Blue Iris software, you get many alerts triggered by motion (light changing, pet running, leaf falling, etc) which are non-relevant alerts. With Sentry Smart Alert, you will receive fewer but more meaningful alerts that keep you mind at ease. With Smart Alerts turned on, instead of checking your videos only after something happens, you will be more able to deal with unwanted activity as it happens.
